So much depends on what happens in the 18 spots before the Panthers pick.  Dan has to prepare for a lot of possibilities.  I really do think it will be BPA.

Hmmm.... I'll give this a shot.  Historically, Round one (1) of the draft allows each team 10 minutes "on the clock".  HOWEVER I believe that this year, 2026, the allowed time has been changed to 8 minutes. (I'll check this to be sure, but I think I remember reading that..). So.... IF the Panthers stay at #19, there will be 18 teams picking ahead of the Panthers. The Draft is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 PM EST and it always seems to start on time. The only question remaining is how long will each team take "on the clock"??  It seems like on the first day, historically, most teams take almost all of the allotted time...thinking and waiting and talking to other teams about trades, etc., etc. Some move a little faster ---

So, 18 teams taking 8 minutes each is 144 minutes or 2 hours and 24 min. That would put the Panthers on the clock at 10:24 PM. However some teams will be a little quicker, so it's going to be difficult to say with any certainty.... I would guess that it would be probably 30 minutes or so earlier than that, around 9:45 ... maybe..?? It definitely won't be any later than 10:24 ... unless something drastic happens.
Of course I could be very wrong .... 

EDIT:  It's definitely eight (8) minutes allotted time in the 1st round...
