PANTHERS "AGREE TO TERMS" WITH SAFETY, NICK SCOTT - Hobbit99 - 03-23-2025

It's official. The Panthers and S Nick Scott have "Agreed To Terms" today for a one year deal. Scott was a reliable backup and a fixture on Special Teams.

Quote:"CHARLOTTEThe Panthers have a depth chart at safety now, bringing back a familiar face and solid special teams player.

The team brought back safety Nick Scott on a one-year-deal Saturday.

The 29-year-old Scott came here last year, after a one-year stint with the Bengals. Originally a seventh-round pick out of Penn State, he spent his first four seasons with the Rams, where he won a Super Bowl ring.

He played in 10 games last year, with four starts on defense.

The Panthers added free agent safety Tre'von Moehrig in free agency, but the only other safety on the roster was Demani Richardson."

Another good signing or resigning. Great depth piece, that is really needed, and as mentioned a good special teams player.

I’d have preferred Franklin, but a s is a s. We need.

We can now sign Sam and worry no longer about safety.

I liked Sam Franklin a lot. He was also very solid on special teams.
