FALCONS QBs - WHO KNOWS - KIRK COUSINS ABSENT FROM OTAs - Hobbit99 - 05-27-2025
Word on the street is Kirk Cousins is looking to be traded. He's unhappy about being unseated as the starter in Atlanta. The Falcons have named Penix as the heir-apparent to the starting QB job. --- Honestly, this makes me sort of happy. The Falcons were 8-9 last year and Cousins led them to jump out quickly to a 6-3 start. When Penix started playing they pretty much folded and won only two more games, ending the season at 8-9. The verdict is still out on Michael Penix, but I think I'd rather face Penix than Cousins.!!

Heck yea, I'll vote for Penix as the starter for the Falcons. Word is that Rogers is playing his usual games with the Steelers (shocking I know) and that Cousins may be QB of interest there.
Looking forward to our revamped D making Penix miserable 2x this season.
By the way...always thought Cousins was a bit over rated. He pulled it off and made a lot of money.
