CONTRACTS ARE OFFERED TO COKER AND TREMAYNE - PantherFan007 - 03-04-2026 Great news! Two young studs in the making! https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-tender-contracts-to-jalen-coker-brycen-tremayne-exclusive-rights-free-agents Panthers tender contracts to Jalen Coker, Brycen Tremayne CHARLOTTE — The Panthers held onto a pair of young receivers who had key roles last season on Wednesday. The team placed exclusive rights free agent tenders on wide receivers Jalen Coker and Brycen Tremayne, securing them for the 2026 season. As ERFAs (which are players with fewer than three years of experience), they didn't have the ability to negotiate with other teams anyway. (You can see the team's full list of free agents here.) Coker was second on the team with 394 receiving yards last year, and had three touchdowns, emerging late in the year as a solid complement to offensive rookie of the year Tetairoa McMillan. In the final five games of the season, as the Panthers made their playoff push, Coker had 19 catches for 244 yards and three scores. He also had nine catches for 134 yards and a touchdown in the wild card game against the Rams. He missed the first six games of last year with a quad injury that landed him on injured reserve. After making the team last year as an undrafted rookie from Holy Cross, he played in 11 games and caught 32 passes for 478 yards and two touchdowns. Tremayne was one of the team's top special teams players last year, and was second on the team in special teams tackles with 15. He also had 14 catches for 160 yards in spot duty on offense. |
