***ST COORDINATOR***

OK....So the first leaked candidates for Special Teams Coordinator have just hit the news wire. Former Panthers LB, Chase Blackburn, has been the ST Coordinator since 2018. Highly regarded, Blackburn was a bit of a surprise when he was 'relieved' of his duties a week ago. Word on the street says Chase will catch on with another team this year. I am actually quite surprised by his firing.

In any event, the first two names offered up for ST Coord. are....
1) Chris Tabor --- Currently Chicago Bears ST Coordinator
2) Tom McMahon --- Currently Broncos ST Coordinator

Both of these guys have interviews "pending". I suspect we'll hear more soon......

OK... Let's throw another name into the hat...
The latest information rumor mill indicates that the Panthers have indicated some interest in interviewing Scottie Montgomery.
Montgomery is currently the RB coach for the Indianapolis Colts. So that's number seven so far.

Thanks for the updates, Hobbit. I haven't been around much this week, busy at work and busy at home.

I hope Rhule learned from the Joe Brady Experiment to stay away from youngsters with little or no experience, so please no Klint Kubiac.

***ST COORDINATOR***

Word on the street is the Panthers have received permission to interview another candidate for ST Coordinator.

3) Thomas McGaughey ... Currently NY Giants ST Coordinator

Panthers have another candidate for OC. Latest word says Panthers intend to interview Ben McAdoo. McAdoo is currently with the Dallas Cowgirls as a "consultant". Not certain what that means..?? I guess he "consults"..???  Anyway....

Prior to Dallas, McAdoo was at one time the Head Coach of the Giants.
