WEEK 12 INJURY REPORT - WEDNESDAY-------> FRIDAY - Hobbit99 - 11-23-2022

Week 12 starts off with eight (8) players shown as out of practice (DNP..). In addition to those eight, there were three more listed as LP (Limited..).  Juston Burris is back to practice partially, although still in the concussion protocol. He has already missed three weeks and has NOT been OK'd for FP yet, so as of right now he is still not available to play.  PJ Walker is recovering from his ankle misery, although he definitely won't start this week. Walker also won't be the "backup" behind Darnold. That responsibility belongs to Mayfield for now.  Three of the eight DNPs are shown as 'Illness' which could be something as innocuous as a 'cold' or 'flu', or it could mean exposure to a Covid variant. We'll probably never know, but for now we will just show them as 'sick'..... or words to that effect.  In the military, they were always called "sick, lame, or lazy" at the early A.M. formation.  No further comment is applicable here.......

RE: WEEK 12 INJURY REPORT - WEDNESDAY--THURSDAY - Hobbit99 - 11-24-2022

THURSDAY REPORT...

The Injury report for Thanksgiving Day looks about like it did for the previous day. The Panthers added a couple of names to the list, Ian Thomas and Taylor Moton. Moton was shown as a Vet Rest day, so it really doesn't mean anything. Thomas was listed as "Illness" so that means ..... ??? Who knows..?? D'Onta Foreman was back at practice today as he returned from his Vet Rest day, so he is now a FP designee. Also, Juston Burris is now listed as a full practice player for the first time since his concussion almost four weeks ago. It will be good to have him back if he is cleared to play.

All of the rest of the list is the same as yesterday. No movement, up or down. That could be good (or bad..) depending on ...... well, you know.....

FRIDAY REPORT...

As Friday rolls around, the Panthers have improved their injury status although there are still some players whose status for the game on Sunday is up for debate. Hartsfield, Ioannidis, and Littleton have all been ruled "OUT" for the game. In addition, there are five other players whose game status is either "DOUBTFUL" or "QUESTIONABLE".  Both Moton and Foreman are 'full-go' as expected, as their status earlier this week was not injury related, but rather a "Vet/Rest" situation.  One GOOD note today. The report shows Juston Burris with no status. That should indicate that he has been "cleared" from the concussion protocol.  Although I haven't seen any note to that effect, I still assume that is the case....
