Tahir Whitehead, recently of the Raiders, is reportedly signing a one (1) year deal with the Panthers. Whitehead has been an effective LB since 2012 when he was drafted by the Lions. From there to the Raiders and recently released.

Generally accepted as being a quality player, Whitehead is now 29 y.o. and MIGHT be the next defensive signal caller for the Panthers. A lot depends on Shaq and whether he can do the quick mental stuff necessary on the field. Shaq would appear to be the one to take over, but Whitehead has more experience and might be slotted to take over the MLB position. Just another question to be answered.....

Now, You don't KNOW that 007.... You're guessin'.... Admit it, son.

I don't believe he will be another Luke Kuechly. And he WILL have a learning curve.  We NEED some veterans.!!
