Undrafted FA Sam Tecklenburg retired from football in January.  Then he got a call from Rhule Saturday to see if he was interested in coming to Carolina.  Now he is the newest UDFA to sign with the Panthers.

LOL.   It was kind of a funny story.  If he turns out to be decent for us, it will be a great story.

And I guess that making some serious money for doing it helped...
