If I remember correctly, Eddie Pineiro started the season as the #3 NFL FG kicker on the "all-time" list. (someone correct me if I'm wrong..). I remember he 'wasted' a little time in the beginning talking to the head-shed about his contract, but it wasn't a big deal and he was soon back in camp kicking. He mentioned the "list" once in an interview, remarking that his goal was to be the #1 kicker so he had a little work to do. All I know for sure is he is pretty much "automatic" inside of 50 yards..... and damn good over 50 as well.

WELL... It's finally come to pass. Eddie Pineiro has "finally" made the grade as an NFL kicker. As of this date, Pineiro has moved into the #1 spot on the "all-time" list for FG percentage. For a relatively young kicker, this was a truly ambitious goal. As of the last game he took over the #1 spot from Justin Tucker.

You heard it here first, folks..!!!
