Panthers D improving.....players they do not need getting picked up by other teams.  Sounds like things might be changing.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed Rozeboom to a one-year deal. He becomes the second Panthers starter from last season to land in Florida, with defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson also jumping to the enemy after his release.

Maybe this opinion will make you feel better.....

Rozeboom, while productive, was incredibly inconsistent with real athletic limitations in coverage and sideline-to-sideline range. He had some good moments against the run, key sacks in big games, and a couple of takeaways here and there. He was never going to move the needle like Lloyd.

The play needed to be better, and there is no risk of letting Rozeboom walk when the team still has eyes for third-year linebacker Trevin Wallace in addition to another made in the draft.

The Buccaneers are simply adding depth, and maybe some knowledge of the defensive operation in Carolina. However, they are in decline as a roster, having hit their peak as division champions before the Panthers secured their first NFC South crown in a decade.

Well, he was no Luke Kuechly, that's for sure, but I personally wouldn't call him a scrub or anything.   I know he could have been better, but he's not the worst we've had.  But that's my my personal opinon

He would have been a good situational depth piece next year.  You only have to remember how Stafford just waltzed down the field in the playoff game with no resistance in the middle to see the Panthers had to improve the LB room. Trusting Morgan and Tillis.  Going to get that D right.
