PANTHERS--Restructure Shaq Thompson Contract

Officially, the Panthers have restructured Shaq Thompson's contract. This bit of monetary magic will "save" the Panthers about 5 Mil in cap space this year. Along with the 11 million from Taylor Moton's contract, this fiscal reapportionment gives the Panthers a total of about 16 million more dollars of cap space for this year. Of course, nothing is free in the NFL. The Panthers will have to pay this bill in the future. The Panthers hope it will come due when the cap ceiling is higher and fewer FA players are on the block.
We will see how that works out.!!!

Glad to see Shaq wanting to stay with the team and restructuring his contract. He's one of the best players on our Defensive side of the ball.
