I actually like this trade a lot on the surface. Not sure what the undisclosed pick actually is… guess one day it will be disclosed. This kid is a physical baller though. I remember him for Colo. I’m just wondering how he is in the locker room, because he can play.

Could this mean that Robbie might be on the move? Or most likely TMJ but we will be lucky to get much if anything for him.

Daley and a 7th round pick to theme Titans for a fifth rounder. All
Picks in 2024.

Not bad, IF Daley was on the way out.

Daley and Shenault....

Net gain/loss to the Panthers this year = "0". Roster still stands at 80.  Until tomorrow.....

Here are the announcements from the Panthers.

PANTHERS:  Panthers Add WR Shenault in Trade With Jags

PANTHERS:  Panthers Trade O-Lineman Daley To Titans

Hey First...  I've been wondering about this since you posted it.
The word on the street is ..... Shenault cost us two picks. A 7th rounder this coming draft, and a 6th rounder in 2024.

This dude is beefy for a WR. Hopefully he can block, and maybe contribute on ST.  He has had some usefull production for the Jags as a receiver too.  Apparently some injury concerns last two years. Still, he adds some context to our WRs because we didn't have anyone with his stature. Might be an OK deal as long as he stays healthy.

NFL.COM:  Panthers Trade For Shenault---Two Draft Picks
I'm starting to get a little concerned about our drafts...especially in 2024.    Huh

This is as close as you can get to the "bird in the hand" expression. I have a feeling we'll get a lot better results from this guy that we've seen produce in the NFL than what we would've gotten with those late draft picks.

Yeah, you're probably right.  I've NEVER been a fan of late-round picks. Drafting past the 5th round is mostly just an 'exercise in futility'.  Still, we need some picks left next year and 2024 as well. Late picks can be used as trade offerings too..!! Big Grin
