It has been reported by the NFL that Bryce Young has cancelled all remaining pre-draft visits.  It was said he only visited teams that were potentially one of the top two or three picks, or potentially might trade up to one of those positions.

SO......

If a team isn't drafting #1 or #2, then Young isn't interested in talking to them. He can't be bothered to talk to a team at #5 or #6.  WOW... that tells us something about his ego, doesn't it.??

He is going to be in for a rude awakening in the NFL  I don't care who drafts him.....

Well, I kinda had that thought too.

Do you remember pre-draft when Sean Payton went to visit Kelvin Benjamin and Kelvin refused to see him, saying that he (Kelvin) was "too tired to workout right now"?

I remember saying then that I hope nobody drafted him.  But then WE went and drafted him.  How did that turn out?  Not too good for us or for him.

Oh, and another thing, how many times have we seen quarterbacks who were expected to be a top 5 or top 10 pick go tumbling down the board? Heck, even Matt Corral was initially speculated at being a first round talent, but he fell all the way to day three. You just can't count your chickens before your eggs, I'm just saying.......

And on the flip side, look at all of these first overall quarterback draft picks, and see which ones set their stadiums on fire. Not many....

1971: QB Jim Plunkett, Stanford, Patriots
1970: QB Terry Bradshaw, Louisiana Tech, Steelers
1975: QB Steve Bartkowski, Cal, Falcons
1983: QB John Elway, Stanford, Colts
1987: QB Vinny Testaverde, Miami (FL), Buccaneers
1989: QB Troy Aikman, UCLA, Cowboys
1990: QB Jeff George, Illinois, Colts
1993: QB Drew Bledsoe, Washington State, Patriots
1999: QB Tim Couch, Kentucky, Browns
2001: QB Michael Vick, Virginia Tech, Falcons
2002: QB David Carr, Fresno State, Texans
2003: QB Carson Palmer, USC, Bengals
2004: QB Eli Manning, Ole Miss, Chargers
2005: QB Alex Smith, Utah, 49ers
2007: QB JaMarcus Russell, LSU, Raiders
2009: QB Matthew Stafford, Georgia, Lions
2010: QB Sam Bradford, Oklahoma, Rams
2011: QB Cam Newton, Auburn, Panthers
2012: QB Andrew Luck, Stanford, Colts
2015: QB Jameis Winston, Florida State, Buccaneers
2016: QB Jared Goff, Cal, Rams
2018: QB Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma, Browns
2019: QB Kyler Murray, Oklahoma, Cardinals
2020: QB Joe Burrow, LSU, Bengals
2021: QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson, Jaguars

I found this video of him, I don’t feel there’s an ego problem at all. It’s not all that uncommon to cancel remaining visits. This is a long video from earlier today, but an awesome interview. He commands the room he is in. He’s moved more as my favorite pick honestly. I know size and all, but his demeanor is amazing, you can tell he’s super intelligent. He speaks like a veteran QB already.

I honestly don't think there is an ego problem, either, and to be perfectly honest, why would he continue to visit teams that he knows have no plans (or chance) to draft a quarterback?

Who thinks we draft Richardson? Silly season, also fun.

Josh21Who thinks we draft Richardson?  Silly season, also fun.

Hope we pick the right guy…will see.  Any late predictions?

If we "waste" the #1 overall pick on Richdardson, I might take a dive off the deep end.

Is he talented, "Yes", athletically speaking.  Football speaking, I've seen better.  In this draft even.
