Nick Saban reportedly set to retire after unprecedented success at Alabama
Alabama coach Nick Saban is retiring, according to multiple reports Wednesday evening, ending a career of unprecedented success and opening perhaps the biggest job in college football.
During a 17-season run with the Crimson Tide that began in 2007, he won six of his seven career national titles, finishing on top in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2020, his dominance spanning the end of the Bowl Championship Series era and the birth of the College Football Playoff.
His final college records: a 292-71-1 record, including 19-12 in bowl games and 9-5 in the College Football Playoff, including a loss to Michigan in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1 in his final game.

I am from Tenn so naturally have a lifelong hate for Bama. This is big. Need to send truckloads of Prozac to the state stat.
