BEN JOHNSON (finally) TAKES HC POSITION

Newly announced HC Ben Johnson accepts position with the Bears. He stated that he really wanted to stay in the Division, so the switch from the Lions to the Bears seems to be an ideal one for him. At least he won't have to move too far. Detroit to Chicago is just a stone's throw, really. A couple of hours by car, maybe three or four depending on traffic. I've driven it many times when i lived in Michigan and traveled west toward Wyoming and the Pacific coast. Don't really remember the exact travel times.  Idon't think he'll commute though.!

Anyway, the wait is over for Johnson who has been the subject of rampant speculation in the past few years. He's been "expected" to get a HC position for awhile.
