I find rooting for other teams is difficult .

Sometimes I might pull for ,, say the Buffalo Bills because there are / were , many Panther connections. They aren’t in the NFC.
In theory, I should root for my conference, but that’s very hard. Especially if it’s in the NFC SOUTH. No way.

If it’s a team like Detroit, that hadn’t been there forever.. it’s easier to pull for.

Chiefs vs Eagles.

How much I watch ?  How much will you watch . I don’t even know who the halftime entertainment is

Who are you pulling for ?  Are you even watching ?

Enjoy this day,  we’ll be one day closer to our glorious return to the Super Bowl

Thanks OP...

I was going to start a new thread about the Super Bowl. Now I don't have to.!!

I don't have a dog in this fight. So... I really don't have a lot of sentiment either way. Whether we want to admit it or not, we USUALLY have a favorite ('Just Because', mostly, I guess..). This year I am  pulling for the Eagles.  WHY --- Is a little harder to say. I guess the main reason is because the Chiefs have won three of the last four (or 3 of 5..?? -- I forget..). Anyway, it's time someone takes them down a peg.  Understand, I don't really care if they DO win, it's just that I'm tired of hearing all of the blather about how good they are.  The principle of the thing, I guess.....

So.... What do you think about the game.??  Everyone jump in here.

I think the Eagles have a VERY good chance to pull this one out. Neither team is invincible. The Panthers proved that (sort of...).  I think it will be close and not TOO high scoring. I'm thinking maybe 31-28 or 34-24... maybe even a little lower than that.... like  28-21. I don't know.... and I don't really care.  BUT, I hope the Eagles have the bigger number.

It’s the 3rd Quarter. Eagles 27-0

Gotta give Eagles some credit for crushing the chiefs.

Next season we’ll finally be in the playoffs and give a “hoots” who wins

I did not want Philly to win.  Thought the game would be close and KC would win.

Missed that one.

Well.....

Got the winner right...

Got the score wrong (I wasn't even close...)

Interesting game. The first turnovers by the Chiefs set the tone for the game. Mahomes throwing multiple interceptions was a surprise. Being down 24-0 at the half was a surprise. Coming out in the second half with no response was a surprise. Chiefs going down 34-0 before they scored their first points was a surprise.

There wasn't much about this game that wasn't a surprise..!!

Now that the season is over, we can get back to the important stuff. PANTHERS FOOTBALL..!!

MOCK this...
Combine.!
MOCK that...
Pro Days.!
MOCK the other thing...
Free Agency.!
MOCK, MOCK, MOCK..
DRAFT..!!

Whew, glad that's over.  Altogether too much MOCKING going on..

I predicted the Eagles to win where I work and caught some grief from it (My manager lives in Kansas City), but it worked out for me.

Whodathunk watching the Eagles win a football game could have been so enjoyable??? And not only won it, they handled business all sixty minutes of football. Did my heart good, so to speak :)

It shows you just how much the chiefs were helped out this season. They were honestly a mediocre team, by all accounts, and kept getting favorable calls. They faced a true opponent, whose defense was on another level. Man those Georgia Bulldog boys came to EAT!

It's true. That Chiefs team was much worse than their record all season.

Agreed.... They played SOLID football. But not exceptional football.  Just barely good enough to win in a lot of cases.
