YES... I've mentioned several times that I believed Brooks was probably finished. He will attempt to come back but he's missed two years and with two ACLs on the same knee, it's becoming increasing difficult to forecast a return to prominence. Legs are a RBs only weapon. No other position relies as much on strength and mobility. It would be great if he beat the odds, but the Panthers cannot count on that happening. Even if he does play, everyone will be holding their breath every time he is on the field. He can't (won't..??) play with the necessary abandon to be effective. He may survive getting hurt again, but it will be a wasted effort. -- IMHO.

Well said, Hobbit.  Poor guy, though.  But, if I were him, I'd take the money and run. (No pun intended) lol
