If (BIG if) SF takes Mac Jones and Lance n fields falls to us?  Or just one.  Who do you take?  Personally I like both, but I’d trade back for bank if it’s only Lance, n pick fields if both fall.  I feel a Allen vibe from fields, but I’m not a college fb watcher.  Thoughts?

Any others that drop we gotta pick? Or lt all the way?

As I stated in another thread the other day, if Mac Jones falls to us, I think we should pull the trigger, or Trey Lance.

But I believe in my heart of hearts there are a couple of soon-to-be big-name quarterbacks still available in the 2nd round. ;)

I don’t think Lance or Mac will b the pick at 8. 2nd round though? Maybe trade up for lance. Strongly disagree with trading for another vet Qb. I just doubt Mac Jones. Don’t know why.

There is a second tier of QBs that deserves attention. Stanford's Davis Mills, Florida's Kyle Trask and Texas A&M's Kellen Mond each could hear their names called in Rounds 2 or 3 on Friday night.

Just my opinion if you have a qb that you believe in or believe in their possibility to become a starter, you either draft them in round one so that you get that fifth year option or you don’t draft until the 3rd at the earliest and would make better sense in round 4 or even later. I have a graph that I can’t get the picture to post but it clearly indicates that the 2nd round has had the fewest qb’s selected. 1, 6,7 and four in that order had the most. 2,3 and 5 in that order had the fewest.
