According to General Manager Scott Fitterer this morning, the Team has already met with and interviewed on of this year's draft class quarterbacks.

Max Duggan, Quarterback, TCU.

He's a little raw, but the kid is smart and has an arm.  Do I think they'll pick him in the 1st round?  No, but I do believe if they don't get what they want or don't like what they see, they could feasibly trade BACK and take him.

He's not afraid to throw the ball.  Not afraid to run it either.  Looks like he leaves it all out there on the field.

Doubt if Duggan goes before the 5th round. Might even be this years Brock Purday, but hey, he turned out not so bad.

GEN INFO...

Max Duggan is a somewhat "lesser quantity" in the draft.... If you believe what the Draft Big Boards have to say.  Almost all of the Big Boards have Duggan outside of the top 100. That would put him around the top of the 4th round or later. But we all know QBs go higher than they are rated on Big Boards (Usually..).

CBS has Duggan as the #8 QB in the draft and at #180 overall.  That would put him in the 6th round on the Big Board.
DraftBuzz has Duggan as the #12 QB in the draft. Couldn't find a Big Board number there.
Draft Tek does not have him listed in their top 100.

It would seem that there are at least 6 or 7 QBs ahead of him in this draft. Why would we be interested in another late round QB.??  Especially when we already have a 3rd rounder on the roster.  UNLESS.......  Someone knows something about....?? ... something..??  Which of course the rest of us, the "great unwashed" don't know.
Huh Huh

He has been predicted to be a 3rd Rounder.  Anybody remember Mr. Insignificant from last year's draft who almost took his team to the Super Bowl?  And remember the other 6th Rounder who took his Team(s) to more than half a dozen Super Bowls and won.

All that having been said, Duggan is pretty much a project quarterback who would need at least two years sitting on the sidelines for him to be ready to start in the NFL.  Unless, of course, trial by fire and all that jazz.
