DRAFT DAY TRADE.?? -- FITTZ SAYS MAYBE -- "WE'RE LOOKING"

As we all know, Scott Fitterer is always "In on every deal."  The latest information comes from Kristen Balboni who had a little Draft day talk with Scott Fitterer.  He alludes to there being a "group" of players around certain draft numbers. And the Panthers are investigating the possibility of "moving up" into those positions. If it doesn't happen, the Panthers could "move down" to recoup a pick or two.

The Panthers ARE looking and calling and talking (according to Fittz..). So everything is on the table. Anything could happen.

POSSIBLE Draft Day Movement..

If the Panthers were to make a move during the draft, When/Where do you think it would be.??

• My guess is we will stick at #1. BUT... If we DID move back it would be no lower than #3.
  
• We might move up from #39.  I could see us moving up to the top of the 2nd, or possibly back into the bottom of the 1st. Say from #28 to #35.
  
• WE could also move back from #39 depending on how our board is falling.
  
• The real potential for movement though is at #93. I could see us moving up in the 3rd. Maybe as high as #68-70..??. I don't think we would jump clear up into the 2nd, but it COULD happen.
  
• Our two 4th rounders are eighteen picks apart. Either of them could be trade fodder for an earlier move. Hard to tell exactly where they will fall without knowing how many 'compensatory' picks will be there at the end of the 3rd.
  
• I don't think we arbitrarily move back away from our 4th rounders. Or 5th.  Might move up though.....
  

This draft is going to be interesting....

I couldn't see us trading below #4 at the very most, and it had better be for a ton of potential.

I’d say we pick at 1.

I THINK Fitterer was referring to a move on Day Two or Three, probably. That #1 pick is pretty much set around 1-2-3... IMHO. The #39 or #93 are more likely to see a "move". (Again -- IMHO).

We will soon know.  "Like Sands Through The Hourglass of Time..."
