MUSICAL PRACTICE SQUAD CONTINUES - CONFIRMED

The latest story on the Panthers shows two more players potentially coming to the PS. Those players of interest are WR Deon Cain, and OL Brandon Walton.  Cain was drafted in 2018 by the Colts in the 6th round. He's spent time with the Steelers, Ravens, Eagles, and Bills in addition to the Colts. He has also spent some time with the USFL Birmingham Stallions (Matt Corral teammate..??).  Walton was a UDFA in 2020 with the TB Bucs. He has some experience with Dave Canales and Joe Gilbert.

PANTHERS WIRE:  Panthers Looking At Two More Potential Acquisitions

It's now confirmed.

The Panthers have added two new members to their Practice Squad. To allow for the space, three of the newer PS members have been dropped. This leaves the Panthers with one additional space available on the PS.

"CHARLOTTE — Panthers general manager Dan Morgan has promised to "churn" the roster and the practice squad, and he's true to his word.
The team added two new practice squad players Friday and released three, creating an open spot on the 16-man squad.

The team signed wide receiver Deon Cain and offensive lineman Brandon Walton. To make room for them on the roster, they released safety Alex Cook, defensive tackle Walter Palmore, and offensive lineman Mason Brooks."
