WEEK 1 - PREP FOR SAINTS - CANALES, ETC...

Well, we're down to the final few days preparing for Week 1 against the NO Saints. There are undoubtedly a lot of 'things' going on behind the scenes. I will try to keep this thread active with 'stuff' that applies to this game. Please jump in here with anything you hear or just want to say about the game.

So, here is Canales talking about the game and the runs-up to the season after Training Camp and the Pre-season.

I’m just hoping for competence at this point.  Last year was complete lack there of on offense.  True my due to terrible coaching.

MORE - Breaking News...

The Panthers have decided that their TE group is insufficient. At least it so appears. So, in prime position before Week !, (apparently) the Panthers have decided to sign another TE (apparently). This (apparently) will serve to bolster the position for the immediate future, apparently.

"...the team is signing tight end Messiah Swinson  ...The 6-foot-7, 259-pound rookie will now be added to Carolina’s active 53-man roster"

Yep --- IT'S OFFICIAL.. We have a tall, big, HUGE, OLB type guy on our 53 Roster as a TE.!!!

If he can play ball.... This guy could be 'proverbial'. (I'll need to think about the applicable proverb..!)
