PANTHERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH ANOTHER OLB - NICK HAMPTON

The Panthers are bringing aboard another OLB. They've agreed to terms with Nick Hampton who was a 5th round selection of the LA Rams back in 2023. This is interesting for several reasons, but the one that stuck out to me was the fact that Hampton was still on his rookie contract.  APPARENTLY -- The Rams waived him after his 3rd season. Have to wait and see about this one, but my quick research showed that he was mostly a Special Teams guy.... And I suspect that is where he will slot-in here as well. Although he will offer some additional depth at the position.
