The latest news and information has our very own Greg Olsen being 'promoted' and moving up to the #1 team on Fox's football broadcasts. Greg will partner with Kevin Burkhardt. Olsen and Burkhardt will take the place of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman who have left for ESPN's Monday Night Football (greener pastures..???..).
It will probably be a short "bit" for Olsen though. Latest word indicates that his 'new' job will eventually be conceded to Tom Brady when he DOES eventually retire. I feel a little ambivalent about Brady. I don't think he has the "right stuff" to host a football "play-by-play" broadcast. He seems much too forward and 'in your face' for that type of job. He will have some appeal though to those who like the "loud mouth" type. Anyway, here's hoping Greg does well this year.!!
