He's quick, but not particularly strong. Has a nice "spin" move carrying the ball and is somewhat shifty. Looks like he goes down pretty easy, and not much yardage past first contact. I don't think he has a lot of real "speed", but he is quick. He pretty much looks like what he is..... a small, quick RB with good hands.
Not sure why we need him though...????? Maybe because Hubbard is 'underperforming'..??

Since Blackshear was signed from another team's Practice Squad, League rules say that he MUST be counted on the new team's active 53 roster for a minimum of three weeks. Players signed like this are guaranteed a minimum of three weeks pay at the active roster minimum even if they are released. They are also counted as on the roster for three weeks even if released sooner.
