The problem with ACL surgery for a big man is (depending on how bad it is torn) a big man is "big", and inactivity afterwards often causes big men to become bigger men. And when he comes back (IF he comes back next season), it's gonna be tough for him to put the kind of pressure on his knees that he's used to doing against the big DTs and DEs. I wish him all the best, and hope he takes care of himself and his family first and foremost.
