PANTHERS RESTRUCTURE XAVIER WOODS CONTRACT

The third restructure this season has taken place. Behind Taylor Moton and Austin Corbett, the Panthers have now restructured Xavier Woods. As far as Cap money is concerned it is relatively small....about 2.0 Mil, but it's another step along the way.

Every little bit helps, and I appreciate these guys for allowing it to happen.  It's taking money away from them that, by all rights, they are entitled to, so good for them to work with the team to help make it a better place to play.

Agreed, however I read somewhere that when a restructure is done, it’s basically transformed into a signing bonus, which doesn’t effectively hurt the cap as much I suppose.
