Yep... Panthers Wire and Cat Scratch Reader are both reporting it as well.  Bit of a surprise to me. Thought we might keep Elflein for O-line support.  Injury worries I guess.

Read somewhere, maybe a comment section, but it was stated that Elfein was going to be too expensive to keep as a backup, meaning it didn’t make sense.  Saved in the cap tho.

Yeah... CSR mentioned something about a 4.3 Mil saving against the cap this year with the release.  Apparently Elf's contract would be paying him as much as a backup as Boze would make "FrontLine" starter. We have a couple of guys that could step in if necessary.  Hope no one gets hurt.
