Next will be changing the name to the Carolina Browns for about 7-10 of worthlessness.

We will have to agree to disagree.  I don’t think it’s that drastic, but definitely head scratching

I am not certain, TBH. I find the whole draft so far to be perplexing. But I agree with BCF in that it's not a complete bust.  I understand the #1 pick. Not saying I really LIKE it, but I understand it. Young is SMART, and with good coaching and a pot of good luck he may "beat the odds." Fingers crossed.

The #39 pick confuses me. Our WR room was pretty solid. I know we lost Moore, but we gained Adam Thielen who is a really good receiver. Yes, I know he's 'older', but still has plenty left in the tank (IMHO). Then we added DJ Chark who could be a real "STAR." Yes, I know he had surgery but is expected to fully recover early enough to take part in some of OTAs. Then onward to camp and the season. THEN... we added Hayden Hurst, a TE who has the skills to fully integrate into the passing game.  So..... WHY would we draft a WR at #39.??  When we need a CB, we need an EDGE guy, we could use some LB help, and we could use some O-Line help.  I am NOT saying the pick of Jonathon Mingo was a terrible choice....... Just -- WHY.?? Right then...at that point.??

The #93 pick after trading up to 80 (..??). An EDGE guy is not bad tactics. However it should have been done at #39 instead of #80. Then the later pick could have been a DB (or a WR if you're locked into that..).OR a simple BPA pick from whatever is left.  Which is pretty much what we're left with in the 4th and 5th rounds.

So, it's not terrible, just confusing.  Of course, I'm frequently confused..... so there's that.  Huh
