Offensive playcalling is tooooooooooooo vanilla. There’s no motion, no power, nothing but screens and RPO. This is basically Madden we’re watching on rookie level. Our offensive staff is completely to blame. Starting with Frank. You could put ANYONE behind center, and they’d have a hard time. I can’t honestly put it all on Bryce when he gets sacked 7 times a game.
Screens are designed to let people through, but if you run them EVERY play, maybe the offensive line doesn’t know if it’s a screen or not, so they just let people through?
Our team lacks an identity.
There is no more Keep Pounding.
That mantra is unfortunately dead. We haven’t lived up to that speech in many years. No identity. They don’t even feel like the Carolina Panthers anymore.
