Tetairoa McMillan Named Finalist For AP  "OROY"

I think we all figured that TMac would have a shot at this league award for Offensive Rookie Of the Year (OROY). The other earlier awards were nice, but this one is the Big Kahuna. The Awards Ceremony is set for Feb. 5th (I think..??) where the candidates will be recognized and the winners announced. This year there are five finalists for OROY. They are (in no particular order..), WR Tetairoa McMillan; WR Emeka Egbuka; QB Jaxson Dart; QB Tyler Shough; RB Treveyon Henderson.  
I've watched the "best of" for all of these guys and there is some stiff competition here. Both of the QBs look REALLY good. Let's face it, there's no telling how the voting will go. Anyway, it's all up in the air now.

Now we just have to wait for the fat lady to sing..... (No fat-shaming here. This is just another popular 'proverb' used in much the same way as Yogi Berra's "It ain't over till it's over".)

Yes Siree Bob.... You are correct.  If "things" had been different, the Panthers could be playing for the SB title. But, unfortunately, there are 31 other teams who play on the same fields and want the same thing. Only the best survive to play another game. The Panthers were definitely NOT the best team. However, we weren't the bottom of the barrel either. It's time (actually long past time..) the Panthers get serious about coaching, and playing with attitude. Until we develop a winning attitude and philosophy we will never field a team that is ALWAYS competitive. Not just occasionally or sometimes. ALWAYS...

As far as TMac goes, individual accolades are 'nice'. But they mean nothing unless they lead to team success.

I truly believe that much of the Team's success this season, if any, is due to guys like T-Mac
