It's all over the wire ... The Panthers have added another coach (apparently) to the staff. Word on the street has former DB Mike Adams being added to the Panthers staff. There is nothing official from the Panthers yet, but where there's THIS much smoke, there has to be something going on. Multiple sources including the Reuters agency are reporting the hire. Apparently Adams will be added as a 'Bill Walsh Coaching Fellowship' participant. This (apparently) allows the Panthers some time to work with Adams through the spring, OTAs, Mini-Camp, and Training Camp -- the off-season and pre-season. With the final intent to move him into a permanent position if he works out.
Adams retired in 2019 after leaving the Panthers. He played two years here (2017 - 2018). He then moved into coaching and has been with the Bears and the Giants since 2021.
Panthers thinking ahead - Potential loss of Every and Jonathon Cooley
