Well....
We've played the Channel Chickens tough on many occasions... many of which we were expected to FOLD. We didn't.....
This time = ??? Who knows?? It doesn't look good, that's for sure. Still, I can see us giving them lots of trouble. Everything depends on the mental makeup of the team. If they WANT to play tough, they will.
Still don't think we have the right coaching team in place though. Everyone is still wandering lost in the desert right now. It's too soon to expect any massive team buy-in at this point. We have LOTS of very competent players, and SOME really good ones. The team attitude is missing. The "will to live" is gone. No leadership in place to support the team captains. And, truthfully, I don't think the players are really too enthused anyway. There are a few players who will always give everything...won't quit.
Unfortunately, that is not enough.
