I'm hoping he has a healthy year.  The dude is seriously talented and is a force within the force when healthy.

I think he's got a bit still in the tank. If he gives us 8-10 sacks , and stays healthy ( both of which are doable ) I think his experience will spill over to the others..

Fun fact:

Clowney played in all 19 games for the Ravens (including two playoff games) and finished with 71 quarterback pressures — 31 more than Burns, according to Pro Football Focus.

Also:

Before agreeing to terms with the Panthers this week, Clowney said he reached out to free-agent cornerback Stephon Gilmore, his high school and college teammate who played with the Panthers for part of the 2021 season.

“I’ve tried to get him to pull up, too. I’m like, ‘Man, we need to do the Rock Hill thing, the South Carolina thing,’” Clowney said with a smile. “Try to get him to come on home again with me and have some fun.”

The Athletic reported the Panthers have had preliminary discussions with Gilmore, the 33-year-old who won a state championship with Clowney at South Pointe High and spent a season with him at South Carolina.

“Before I signed, I did talk to Stephon,” Clowney added. “He was like, ‘I’m trying to get them to sign me back, too.’”
