Here is Eddie Pineiro's interview closing out mini-camp. He refuses to talk about his absence from OTA's, although honestly I don't see what difference it makes -- really. His one and only job is kicking. YES, it would have been nice for him to have been there, but several of the veterans were missing, so Pineiro wasn't the only one. And really, as long as he's staying fit and working out and kicking I can't see where it makes much difference.

Of course, what DOES make a difference is the reason behind his absence, which he is not talking about --- and which we all assume has something to do with his contract.

Back to the topic, though, I'm not sold on Pineiro as our kicker. I'm looking for Harrison Mevis to give him a run for his money and win the job.
