SAINTS -- HC DENNIS ALLEN FIRED....

The Saints opened the season 2-0. Looking like a decent team their 3 year record was 18-18 after those first two wins. Then came the wreckage. The Saints have now lost seven (7) straight following Sunday's loss to our Panthers. This marked the end for HC Dennis Allen as the team under his tutelage sank to 18-25 over his tenure. The Saints "promoted" Special Teams Coordinator Darren Rizzi to the temporary "Interim HC" slot.

He did not look like It from the beginning.

Saints are a mess.  The cap tricks are finally catching up with them.  Over $60mil over the cap for next year.  Hardly anyone they can cut or restructure to save a few bucks.  Gave Carr a big contract.  Team is aging.  Read that it will not be a desirable destination for a HC candidate.
