OKAY, after the (un)surprising selection at #1..... What is on tap for day two.  The Panthers are back to their "normal" spot from now on. That means the ninth spot of each round, barring movement, trades, compensatory picks, etc., etc.  In the 2nd round, the Panthers will pick at #39 this year. Then in  the 3rd round at #93.

What are your expectations for these next two rounds.??  Keeping in mind there is a LOT of room (and picks) between 39 and 93.  Will the Panthers "move" on either one of these picks.??  Up? or Down.?

Sound off with ideas.  Truthfully, I am lost.

Bunch of good dudes left. Hope we get a good one. I still love Washington.

I was hoping for EDGE Will McDonald IV at #39.  He was slotted as a top of the 2nd talent.  BUT... He went off the board really early at #15.  Yes, there are a lot of good guys left out there, but who knows what the Panthers board looks like.??  What are they thinking.??  I wouldn't be surprised to see Fitterer move back maybe from #39. Depends on where the players are 'grouped' mostly. Might pick up another 3rd rounder if we did. And YES... Darnell Washington is still out there. Always a possibility.
Huh

Sorta feels like a real draft now with all the thoughts and predictions coming up.

Guys that I like whom are still on the board.

Joey Porter
Brian Branch
Derick Hall
BJ Ojulari
Please NOT Josh Downs ( and I’m a UNC fan) analysts are flat wrong about his guy.
And Darnell Washington may be the best player with the most upside potential left in the entire draft. Guess you could worry about your numbers later

I haven't read any of the posts on this thread (yet) because I wanted to give an honest and unbiased opinion.

I fully expect the Panthers to trade back and pick up more draft picks.

Yep.... Sort of what I was thinking.

Although I was hoping for EDGE Will McDonald IV, with him off the board I would settle for EDGE BJ Ojulari.  Hard to tell what the Panthers are thinking. If the pick at #39 is involved in a trade, it would almost have to be back. Not much room to trade up, although it could happen if Fitterer sees a player that we could get without costing too much.  Fitterer also mentioned moving "back" maybe 5-6 spots, so I don't think it would be too far.

I also like LB Drew Sanders. He is a fierce guy with QB pressure.

And of course there is always TE Darnell Washington.

Man if there is a way to swing Jalin Hyatt AND Darnell Washington, we don’t even need any more picks, I’d be happy

I like Mingo. Excellent 4th round selection.
