One thing I can say, if Dave Canales can adjust to such a crappy start to the season and still win two games in a row using a shoestring roster of players, my hat's off to him.

I hadn't really thought about it much until I watched an interview with him yesterday where he discussed how unexpectedly exhausting it is at the sheer amount of work it takes to have so many players revolving on and off the roster, trying to learn their strengths and weaknesses, make sure they are prepared for the game, and come up with another *new* game plan that includes them.  And then, another player goes down or can't play, and there's goes the game plan again.

Hadn't really given that much thought, but CUDOs to him, especially as a rookie head coach, for being able to make any kind of consistency with our team the way it is.

Have not had a chance to watch this yet but I will.  What both Dave and Dan the 1st year has HC and GM have been mind boggling.  One of the players (can't remember who) said he has never seen this many injuries.  Talk about trial by fire.  Some have questioned Canales' play calling. I do think there are times when he should have run the ball more.  That will et better with time. Bryce has made improvements...but I am not sold and it does not look like the brain trust is either. There are a lot of positives we can take away from this year...importantly we may have [finally] found our HC and GM.
