Well, what goes around, comes around....  Once again, HC Canales and GM Dan Morgan were proven right.  After cutting ties with Johnson to cut losses, there were quite a few "fans" who thought it was 'stupid'. It's now obvious that Dan knew exactly what he was doing. After leaving Carolina for the Ravens, Johnson lasted seven weeks and played in four (4) games. He totaled ONE catch for six (6) yards. He walked off of the field in Week 13, refused to play on one occasion, and finally was suspended in Week 16. After being"excused" from team activities, he was waived on Friday.

All the Ravens had to say was that Johnson would not be a part of the team going forward.

ROTFLMAO....  That was a disaster, and well-averted by the Panthers.

Thank You Dan. WELL DONE..!!

OOPS ---  I forgot to include this...

He sure fell hard and fast.  Should have been a team player with the Panthers and set himself up for a paycheck next year.  Instead, he really self destructed.  Some people are their own worst enemy.  An undrafted free agent, Coker, now looking like the man who should get paid.

Coker has been a STEAL, which I thoroughly believed when we first signed him as an undrafted rookie.  He is going to be a star in this league.

And gone again....

Diontae Johnson's trip around the NFL has made more headlines than his play this season.

The Houston Texans waived the wide receiver on Tuesday less than a month after claiming him off of waivers per NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

"The #Texans waived WR Diontae Johnson, who is now looking for his fifth team in a calendar year," Pelissero said on X.

Word is he was a bit vocal about not getting more touches. How many teams have to dump him before he figures it out?

Welp. Poor guy. You know it's bad when a team is in the Playoffs and they say, "Nah, we don't need you" lol

Why does this NOT surprise me.??  Diontae Johnson is his own worst enemy.  A totally committed ass who believes he is god's gift to the NFL and therefore every player and every team should bow and pledge fealty to the D. Johnson WR idol --- as we watch his "rising star" implode and fall into a black hole .... from which he will never escape or recover.

I say again, "thank you, THANK YOU" Dan for seeing this destructive pattern ahead of time and removing it from the Panthers environment.!!
Well Done.!!
