Questions and more questions.

Didn’t we see still finish the season 8-10? Came into the playoffs through the back door? Is Bryce Young still not the 27th ranked QB in the entire league that completed a whopping 52% of his passes in the “playoff” game, the home playoff game and he went 0-4 on that last series. 

I’m having a hard time in wondering why so many are optimistic about our immediate future. I mean it has been, is and will continue to be a QB league and I’m sorry but feel realistic in saying we don’t have one.   

Please tell me why I should look at this differently. I

Well, I am not euphoric after our 8 wins. But it was a huge improvement season for us .
But moving into 2026 won’t be anything close to a cake walk.
This isn’t a one person team. 22 starters . Yes he’s ( Bryce )the most important person due to the position.

We won the division in a 3 way tie, and the Saints beat us twice. Not a team ringing endorsement:

There were a few really good wins this year. Many of us see this as , ‘we’ll take another big step forward next season,, and we might .
But , in 2024 Jayden Daniels lead the Commanders to a 12-5 record. And in 2025 they went 5-12 . So one year isn’t an indicator of things to come.

We need a better 22 players. Especially on defense. The last 2,years I’ve thought we’d invest in the defense more.

Bryce isn’t the problem on moving forward. Hes proved to be serviceable.

Canales has implied the full playbook isn’t in play . It’s 3,years . Open the playbook on offense. Bryce is supposed to be smart ,, right ??

I hope we look at free agents on defense. Players that can step in and play . Edge and Linebackers

But currently I don’t expect us to move forward in our division. Maybe free agency and draft will change my mind

As a fan I just want a little hope.  The team has improved record wise the past couple of years. That's about all I got.

Bryce had some good games.  No he is not great and will never be.  I recently read an article about Sam Darold and his progress.  He said that while playing with Purdy...he learned that his job was to be the point guard...get the ball in he hands of the playmakers. That is what we are going to need from Bryce (as well as not turn the ball over!)

I do think that Dan Morgan is getting the hang of the GM thing.  Really hoping he can get some more talent in here. You know he wants a shut down defense...so do I.

The most positive thing about the year is that we beat a couple of teams we should not have.  But them we did lose game we should have won.

 I guess the most I've got is that we are not as bad as we were.  There is a lot of work to do for next year.    I  just hope.
