Yep
But even if by some chance they don’t …..  They can still give him an extension..

OR …..
Wait and re-sign him to a new contract as a FA after this year.

Sorry FC.  Dan already said they were doing this after the draft....which is how he has done it before.

I’m thinking, scary I know. But if Bryce spends time in the WR room do you think he could grow like four more inches?

This draft finalized all the moving parts in the Bryce Young trade. Bottom line, we got screwed.

Another reasonZzz we only have 1.9 million to spend. Look for cuts and restructuring over the next few days. Not enough money to give Bryce the fifth year or to sign the draft picks. That’s one heck of a tight number and I’m afraid we might get a surprise or two.

Or do those funds even have to available? Maybe not since it is next years actual money?

It's strange that DJ Moore was already traded by the Bears to the Bills

On March 11, 2026, Chicago traded Moore, along with a 2026 fifth-round pick (165th overall), to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick (60th overall, which was traded to the Tennessee Titans and used for their selection of Anthony Hill Jr.).[64]

The 23rd best qb averaging less than 200 yards a game is officially signed up for year five, fully guaranteed.

I think if Bryce does not make significant improvements this year even Tepper will lose his patience.
