Nah, I don't have a clip.  The video is on Panthers.com somewhere.

When asked about the loss, he (loosely) said, "So what this team and that team and several other teams lost, too".    He was thought to have been heard to follow that comment up with, "Nana Nana Boo Boo!" lol

You're not too far off, I guess. He mentioned that there were 16 teams that were 0-1, and we were just one of sixteen. Mentioned a couple other 'good' teams had lost..... so definitely trying to 'spin' it and hoping for better results this week, I guess.

We have a LOT of talent, but we also have a TOUGH schedule.

Careful on Coach Rhule. He has a 29% winning percentage. (10-24). You can’t do that often in the NFL.

Big Grin Big Grin Worship Worship

You're correct of course.  You can do 10-24 only once in the NFL.  Next week it'll be 10-25... (Hopefully NOT..SMH) *****MAYBE it'll be 11-24 next week.!!??!!***** How cool would that be.??

But he didn't mention that nobody did it with our level of finesse lol

Actually, I don't think Rhule has dodged any bullets yet.  He has led a sheltered existence behind his contract. I really believe that Rhule has a 'deal' with Tepper for three (or maybe four..) years in a sort of 'undisturbed' state. And I don't think that is necessarily a bad idea. Rhule had a REALLY tough first year and a half...only starting to calm down about mid-way through last year.  So, I don't think he has ever been in any real danger of losing his job.  But, he might be next year.!!

I honestly didn’t think I’d find a post ok with Rhule ok sentiment. His third year. When he took over it was cmc, dj, Shaq, moton, burns, n d jack. Fact check me I’m guessing, n old. We’ve upgraded the roster(db, wr, qb, OL) in 3 seasons so far. A lot. Look at the roster when he signed, but with Fitt. 2 years. It’s early in the season, but keep

Just my 2 cents on a late Friday afternoon.

Seems like we had no cbs his first year (minus Jax) n not many wr, n ol worthy. Grown In the offseason every year. If we miss, keep swinging. If we can fix run d we should b ok. I don’t care who’s playing. Fill the gaps! Seems schematic. We got 4 good lb’s n at least 8 good dl. Great secondary. Stout wr n ol. Gotta get better at run d. Pass is easy to defend, when it’s not coming. Dial up the run d, or we got a lost season, like last year. Do we need a dt that’s on the market?

Since you quoted me (although it doesn't show as a quote..??), I think I should say a few words here.  A very brief answer...

I think there may have been a misunderstanding..  My post should not -- DID NOT indicate any "OK sentiment" with the job Rhule has done here in Carolina..  Nor should it engender any indication that I am "supporting" Rhule's continued position here as Head Coach.  There---- THAT should clear up any confusion.

What I DID say was that I did not think that Rhule "dodged any bullets".  Which I meant, and which I still mean.  I contend that Rhule has an "agreement" in place with Tepper that protects his status here for this year --- and possibly one more year.!!!.  I don't KNOW this to be true (obviously..), and it has not been reported to be true.  BUT, Tepper has indicated on multiple occasions that he had "complete faith" in Rhule..  That sounds to me like they "have an agreement".

Therefore..... Rhule has not "dodged any bullets" (IMHO..).  You can't "dodge bullets" if none have been fired toward you.....
