Yeah, I’m going there.  Granted db injuries hurt tb.  I also wanna say I love seeing Brady hit n looking at sky.  But anyway, PJ has done much better in his 4 starts than Baker, or Sam the past 2 years.  I think PJ should get the first shot going forward.  Just mho, but we looked functional on o today.

Watched his presser. Even more impressed. Never given much of a chance. It’d b funny for a Ruhle qb to b good here, after he’s gone.

I have never said this before and probably will not again but McAdoo called a great game and players executed. However, I won’t get excited as the Bucs stayed back in Florida… but we competed. And winning was sorta nice.

If PJ keeps playing like he did yesterday, and even improves as I think he will, Baker or Sam will have to compete to get the job away from him. If he's winning, leave him alone.

As I mentioned in another post, PJ actually looked like a professional for a change.  I still think he's just a backup QB in this league, but yesterday that was good enough.

And YES, as long as he's effective, let him play.

I agree. PJ had a good well controlled game. He kept us and helped to make us look competitive. Certainly our best QB performance of the year and maybe we have been without so long people take it to be better than it was. But again, a great professional controlled outing and without major mistakes.

NOTE:  LATEST INFORMATION...

You can NEVER tell what is going to happen. Our QB position is Day-to-Day ... literally. But evidently HC Wilks thinks along the same lines as has been expressed here in the forum. As of today (Monday..), Wilks believes that PJ Walker will remain at QB --- at least for the next game.  Of course, all of this could change as the week progresses.

In his latest "presser", Wilks said it "would be difficult" to remove PJ as long as he was playing the way he is.  Which is exactly what some of us here have been saying since the game against the Bucs.  Wilks expressed his 'satisfaction' at Walkers play and said he would continue to be the starter "for now". That's not a direct quote, but rather a "context" quote.  He DID say that the rest of the week could decide the QB battle for this coming game.... So, nothing is set in stone.  But barring a big uptick by Mayfield or Darnold, I would expect to see PJ on the field against Atlanta.

Here's a link to a synopsis...

Know what I haven’t seen past 2 weeks? Batted passes. PJ is listed 5-10.

Yeah, PJ has looked better behind the same O-Line than either Baker Mayfield or Sam Darnold. Granted, Sam has not played during the regular season, so I'll give him that much. But yeah, no batted passes was awesome.

Just so y’all know, PJ is not the second coming, he’s just our best option right now. I prefer the seldom used backup to the two top 3 picks right now. Who’d a thunk it?
