Has passed away.
Grateful for him bringing the nfl to Charlotte. May he rest in peace and may the family find comfort.

As much as JR was not a perfect man, or a perfect husband, or a perfect owner….. He still was a great businessman and did yeomans work in the Carolinas. He supported education and higher education and built and supported private business ownership. He brought NFL football to the Carolinas. And for that I was, am, and always will be thankful.
