For the second season in a row, Taylor Moton has agreed to let the Panthers restructure his contract in a Salary Cap saving move that saves the team over $11 million dollars this season.

He has not missed a game since he was drafted.

For the second consecutive offseason, the Panthers have restructured the contract of right tackle Taylor Moton. Moton was designated to count more than $25 million against the 2023 salary cap. According to a league source, the move frees up approximately $11 million of cap space which puts Carolina about $10 million below the cap. The 28-year-old tackle signed a four-year, $72 million extension in 2021. Moton played in every game last season and has not missed a game since being drafted in 2017. His contract is the second restructure across the Panthers’ offensive line. The team restructured guard Austin Corbett’s deal two weeks ago. With guard Brady Christensen and tackle Ikem Ekwonu also under contract, the Panthers’ offensive line is a center away from being complete.
