According to Adam Schefter, as reported here by CSR:  Panthers are hosting Browns D-Lineman Chris Smith. Visit supposed to take place today (Tuesday...).

• Soo... ACCORDING TO WALTER FOOTBALL... Here is the current list (thru March 14..) of college draft-eligible players that have had official visits with the Panthers. This list doesn't really mean a lot EXCEPT... the Panthers tend to draft players they have visited with. Doesn't mean they couldn't or won't draft someone without an official visit. It COULD happen...but usually if we are interested, we will visit with them...
