What they have been doing has been amazing. Love love that Dobbs beat Atlanta and NO.  Still living in a hotel and trying to learn his teammates' names. (Before Atlanta game he had not taken a single practice rep with the Vikes.)

Stroud...damn...happy for him.

Just making this season more depressing for us Panther fans but got to really appreciate what those 2 are doing.

Hey LP...

You really caught me out with this Dobbs guy. Had to go look him up.  We talk a lot about Young's "processing", but that HAS to take a back seat to this guy. You've heard the saying "...It's not rocket science.." ..... Well, maybe it is.!!  Dobbs works with NASA --- Aerospace engineer.!!!!!

OMG... I've heard about some really "smart" guys in professional sports, but this guy might just be the top of the NFL "class".

ROTFLMAO...  Good one, Josh.!!  Thumbsup
Not my word, like it though.
There is a good article in The Athletic about Josh Dobbs.  As smart as he is you would expect him to be a nerd instead of a jock.

Ehhh -- crappo...

The Athletic has the article "blocked".  "Come on down", you're the next subscriber on ....... No Thanks.

Dobbs has apparently been very well received by the Vikings. It's always great to see these guys perform and do well when they are expected to fall on their face.  I had a personal friend who was a well known blacksmith and knife maker. He forged blades and designed "stuff". I didn't learn until later that he was a PHD (or something) when some folks called him Dr. ****. Shortly thereafter he asked me if I had a copy of a computer simulation for a ballistic model for a round projectile. I told him I did and that I'd bring it to him from home the following day. The next day he had left town for Redstone Arsenal and left me a note saying that he had made the necessary calculations and didn't really need the computer data.  Turned out he was "on call" with the US Military Command to troubleshoot rocket/missle telemetry and mechanical problems. A true-to-life rocket scientist that had to go when called...... To say that I was "shocked" would be an understatement. !!

Dobbs is on the verge of setting an NFL record (at least tying..).  He's THROWN for a TD & RUN for a TD in three consecutive games with the Vikings. If you count his last game with the Cardinals, he has four consecutive games. One more next week and he'll be tied with Justin Fields, Kyler Murray, and Michael Vick.
