Sounds like he saved the woman's life. The doctor's skills seems questionable.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is being hailed as a hero after offering help to a woman experiencing a medical emergency during a flight from Baltimore to Phoenix.

“The doctor and nurse attending to her couldn’t find a strong pulse, her blood pressure was extremely low, and required oxygen to breathe,” Springs wrote.

Springs said Andrews, 28, asked the medical professionals if the problem could be the woman’s blood sugar and offered a diabetic testing kit he had. The three-time Pro Bowler was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 9 and monitors his blood sugar levels regularly.

Andrews then instructed the doctor and nurse on how to use the test kit. The woman’s heart rate later stabilized, and paramedics were on site as soon as the plane landed.

Good thing a football player was around.
