Just curious. When we traded the 52 along with 142 and 155 did we get anything other than the 46 (Wilson) ? I have not see or heard anything.
I hope they know or really feel something here, he was over 200 on most experts boards and there were 10-12 Lbs ranked better… to move up six spots and loos two more picks.
He is okay some special teams early in his Kentucky career…. Just curious and hoping I missed something.

I need cliff notes...

We gave up 39 ,, a second round pick.. for the 52nd pick and 142 and 155, and a second in 2025 .. Help me make sense of this.

The 39th is a lot better thank the 52, 142, 155 and a future second in 2025 that we don't know where it will be..

The trade for the 46th wasn't know for sure when we did all this with the Rams , was it ?

I understand the value of the unknown 2nd rounder in 2025, but not sure giving up the known 39th was worth giving up.

I hope Jonathon Brooks knee heals well. I don't dislike him at all. I just know if he is a miss,, it's a big miss at 39/ 46

Fingers crossed ( we shouldn't have to have fingers crossed at 46 in my opinion )

What he said. That trade from 52 to 46 along with 142 and 155 or whatever it was for a player ranked around, just below or just above 200 makes zero sense. And while I like the Brooks pick he MUST be 100% healthy and a rebuilding team can’t take that chance.

Hey FIRST...

I'm thinking you got your players crossed up. I know I did too for awhile. So... at #46 we didn't draft Wilson. In fact, we didn't draft Wilson at all. Our #46 pick was the #1 RB in the whole draft. We took RB Jonathon Brooks who was a consensus pick at #47 overall.
As far as I know, we received the #46 and that was all and we gave up #142 and #155 to get him.

The LB we took was at #72 -- It was Trevin Wallace out of Kentucky. Overall consensus had him at #111.

The guy you were thinking about (Wilson) was still the overall #2 LB in the draft at #45. He went to the Steelers.
