Yep... Panthers Wire and Cat Scratch Reader are both reporting it as well. Bit of a surprise to me. Thought we might keep Elflein for O-line support. Injury worries I guess.

Nothing is official yet, but they will be shortly. (Tomorrow..).
Here is an updated list of losses/releases for this year.

Yeah... CSR mentioned something about a 4.3 Mil saving against the cap this year with the release. Apparently Elf's contract would be paying him as much as a backup as Boze would make "FrontLine" starter. We have a couple of guys that could step in if necessary. Hope no one gets hurt.

Don't want to have to read thru the entire thread to see if this has already been posted, but NFL.com states the Panthers will not tender DB Miles Hartfeld (not surprised by this), and will let him walk.
